Pediatric Anesthesiology Faculty – San Francisco – Full Time. This position is for Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (BCH Oakland) and is part of UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, with a focus on high quality, patient‑centered perioperative care and evidence‑based medicine. The department has a national reputation in education, research, and per operative care, and offers a 100% pediatric anesthesiology practice within an established team.

• Provide 100% pediatric anesthesiology care as a faculty member at BCH Oakland, with involvement in acute and chronic pain, ambulatory care, preoperative clinic, and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center activities as part of the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care.
• Educate residents and medical students; participate in University service, faculty meetings, Grand Rounds, and M&M conferences; contribute to quality assurance programs and continuing education; and advance the department’s mission.
• Collaborate with a team of approximately 20 faculty members and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to perioperative care across affiliated UCSF Health campuses as needed.

• Must be board certified or board eligible in pediatric anesthesiology.
• Must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree; pediatric anesthesia fellowship training or equivalent advanced training/experience beyond anesthesia residency is required.
• Must possess a valid California Medical License.

• Salary and academic rank determined by experience and achievements; posted UC salary scales minimum pay for this rank/step range from $142,100 to $429,000; health sciences compensation plan applicable.
