Position Description

Faculty position in Lung Transplant and Pulmonary Medicine, University of California, San Francisco.

The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine is seeking a board certified or board eligible Faculty to be part of the Advanced Lung Disease and Lung Transplant Program. The candidate must have completed training in pulmonary and critical care medicine and have formal training in all aspects of lung transplantation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lung transplantation, acknowledged superior teaching skills, and possess recognized expertise in a broad array of cognitive and procedural skills.

Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Respected clinical physician with outstanding professional credibility and personal integrity

  • Demonstrated interest in fellow, resident, or student education

  • The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step  minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200–$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides eligibility for additional compensation.

For positions that are 50% effort or less:

  • See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $93,700–$246,000.
