Academic Cardiologist, SFVAHCS/UCSF Cardiology Division

The San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) and the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) are seeking applications for academic cardiologist positions at the Cardiology Division of the SFVAHCS. The SFVAHCS Cardiology Division is one of 3 sites within the UCSF Cardiology program.

The SFVAHCS Cardiology Division is undergoing expansion of its clinical and research programs, and is seeking non‑invasive and invasive academic cardiologists to join its ranks. The Division enjoys a long tradition of distinction in clinical care, education and scholastic pursuits. Applicants will have demonstrated clinical excellence in their areas of specialization, along with aptitude for scholarship in clinical, teaching or research domains aligned with the academic mission of the Division and the University.

The successful candidate will be appointed in the Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at UCSF and report directly to the Division Chief of Cardiology at SFVAHCS.

Qualified applicants will have an MD or equivalent, current medical(theme?
license, and be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases. The candidate will be suitable for academic appointment at UCSF at the level of Assistant Professor of Medicine or higher.
