Job DescriptionWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating engaging and effective learning experiences, with a particular emphasis on video-based and eLearning content. You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of instructional materials that support our learning objectives. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities- Design and develop engaging and interactive eLearning courses, videos, and other instructional materials.
- Perform heavy video editing to create high-quality, polished learning content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and gather content.
- Create storyboards, scripts, and design documents for a variety of learning modalities.
- Ensure all learning content is instructionally sound, aligns with our brand, and meets quality standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in designing and developing a variety of instructional materials, including eLearning courses and videos.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and design platforms like Canva.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Decebo.
- A portfolio of work demonstrating your instructional design and video editing skills.
