Part-time Pilates Instructor

UCSF Fitness and Recreation is seeking a Part-time Pilates Instructor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare curriculum and teach group fitness classes.
• Complete ancillary administrative records and assist with promotions.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Attend staff meetings and in-house training as required.
• Annually, contribute to the assessment of the class and personal performance evaluation.
• Remain current in industry standards prescribed by supervisor.
• Behave in a professional manner, work as a team player, and adhere to facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Documented completion of a minimum 450-hours Comprehensive Pilates teacher-training program (preferred).
• American CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of hire (required).
• Nationally recognized Pilates certification (required).
• Previous Pilates teacher experience in a gym/health club environment (preferred).

Working Conditions: This is a limited position and ends 1 year from the date of hire, with potential to renew annually.
