At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we’re seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in‑home tutoring in San Francisco, CA! We are seeking an experienced Special Education tutor to provide individualized general academic support to a 4th‑grade student. The tutor will work in a one‑on‑one setting and support learning through structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate instruction.

• Competitive pay based on specialization ($25–$35/hour).
• Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 PM.
• Weekend schedule flexibility available.
• 1.5 hours per session, three times per week.
• Start in January 2026.

• Provide individualized instruction in Reading and Math.
• Implement behavior support strategies to improve focus, attention, and engagement.
• Apply principles from BCBA / Behavioral Intervention Therapy and Occupational Therapy as appropriate.
• Use structured routines and evidence‑based strategies to support learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet the student’s unique learning and behavioral needs.
• Create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

• The student has Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experiences challenges with distraction and maintaining focus.
• Benefits from structured, consistent, and supportive instruction.

• Required:
  
  Special Education (SPED) experience.
• Background in BCBA / Behavioral Intervention Therapy and Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
• Experience working with students with autism.
• Patient, consistent, and flexible teaching approach.
• Strong behavior management and engagement skills.
