Qualifications and Experience
We seek a team member who is:
- a college graduate (bachelor’s degree)

- a talented, student-centered, and inspiring educator
- a culturally competent, engaged community member
- an excellent communicator
- flexible and able to adjust to different developmental needs and expectations of preschool to 8th grade students
- skilled in classroom management and restorative practices
- reflective and committed to growth mindset
The substitute teacher will:
- fill in for absent preschool - 8th grade teachers as needed
- deliver planned lessons
- work with the front desk when not assigned to a classroom
- communicate with classroom teachers about student observations
- supervise and support inclusive and fair play
- monitor students during lunch and recess
