Bridge and Structures Engineer (PE Required)

Join MNS Engineers, Inc. as a Bridge and Structures Engineer (PE Required). This role supports civil infrastructure projects such as bridges, retaining walls, culverts, gantries, signs, pipe supports, tanks, pump stations, and maintenance facilities across California.

Base Pay Range: $125,000 – $170,000 per year.

Job Type: Full-time.

• Develop structural plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports for bridge and multi‑disciplinary capital projects.
• Prepare construction and contract documents (PS&E), technical studies, and supporting calculations.
• Use bridge‑specific finite element analysis, section analysis, design, and post‑processing software.
• Apply AASHTO LRFD and seismic design concepts to bridge designs.
• Conduct construction site visits, respond to contractor RFIs, and review shop submittals.
• Perform preventive maintenance bridge inspections.
• Coordinate with CADD technicians to ensure timely and accurate plan preparation.
• Track your time and manage multiple deadlines.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred).
• M.S. in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 2-6 years of progressive work experience in structural/bridge design.

Position is predominantly remote; candidates must reside in Northern California (Greater San Francisco Bay area, Sacramento, or further north).
