Position:
Fire Protection Engineer (Los Angeles Area, California).
Pay range: $/yr - $/yr.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
• Act as fire protection engineering discipline lead for the design and/or review of fire alarm, suppression, and life safety systems on multi-discipline projects.
• Act as local fire protection engineering department lead in your office, including business development, team training/mentorship, performance management, workload management and recruiting.
• Coordinate with and support other A/E disciplines.
• Present and solicit knowledge sharing opportunities between other architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Participate in design review meetings and workshops.
• Assist with preparation of comprehensive fire protection packages including fire suppression, fire alarm, smoke management, and life safety.
• Create specification documentation for fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
• Perform fire suppression and alarm systems calculations.
