Job Description

Responsibilities typically include:

• Support waste broker and work under onsite and remote supervision.

• Have the ability to be onsite during waste management activities for various projects across the country.

• Interface with waste management and T&D contractors to plan proper T&D communications, operations, and documentation.

• Work under a waste management plan for site specific work.

• Field implementation and compliance with following procedures.

• Working to the Environmental, Health and Safety, Operations, Quality Assurance, Radiation Protection and Control, and Information Technology plans, procedures, training, and requirements.

• Complete and maintain the necessary documentation for proper management and T&D of the waste.

• Assist the Waste Broker in Work Packages for waste management, transport and disposal.

• Prepare tracking reports, forecasts, and shipment schedules for the waste.

• Assist the Waste Broker with transportation documents for waste shipments.

• Prepare and provide a weekly and monthly status summary on waste management and T&D activities.

• Support the waste technicians, project manager and site personnel in effective and timely management and processing of the project waste.

• Maintain proper records for projects and make available for review.

• Under the Waste Broker’s direction work directly with disposal facility for proper documentation and waste profile.

• Learn how to analyze radiological, environmental and chemical for proper waste disposal.
