Position: Patent Attorney / Patent Agent #21221 San Francisco
Requirements

Experience in wireless telecommunications including 5G/6G technologies and Wi-Fi is required. Additional experience with power devices, analog circuits, medical devices, software, mechanical devices, and 3D-printing is a plus. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Intellectual curiosity, excellent academic credentials, and experience in drafting and prosecuting US and worldwide applications are required. Additional requirements include strong organizational and writing skills and a desire to excel in a large law firm environment.

This is a client-facing position in which the candidate will work directly with inventors and scientists, so strong oral communication skills are necessary.

The position comes with responsibility and independence but also features appropriate training and oversight. Membership in the Patent Bar is required. Familiarity with patent databases and search tools is highly desirable as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
