About the Role- Conduct field surveys and measurements to establish property boundaries.
- Use surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and levels to gather data.
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and legal descriptions.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to provide accurate site data.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and land use laws.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Verify calculations and resolve discrepancies in survey data.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and project documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in construction or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in using GPS, total stations, and CAD software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret maps, blueprints, and legal property descriptions.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local land laws and zoning regulations.
