As a Senior / Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Apiphany, you’ll design, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers our intelligence platform. You’ll be responsible for secure, reliable, and scalable cloud deployments, including the unique challenge of deploying into both internal and customer-managed clouds.

You’ll ensure our systems meet strict requirements for latency, availability, and compliance in highly data-heavy environments. You’ll also guide our security posture, implement infrastructure-as-code, and set the foundation for engineering teams to ship with confidence.

• 3-5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)

• Experience deploying into customer-managed cloud environments and hybrid setups

• Strong knowledge of application security (RBAC, ABAC, multi-tenant systems, identity/access frameworks, secrets management)

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and service orchestration

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent)

• Experience designing systems to meet low-latency and high-throughput requirements

• Background in monitoring, logging, and observability

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems

• Skilled in networking (VPCs, peering, firewalls, service meshes)

• Experience with data infrastructure (streaming frameworks, caching layers, big data stores)

• Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, HIPAA, FedRAMP)

• Prior experience in high-security, regulated industries (aerospace, medtech, automotive)

• Backend development experience (Python, APIs, distributed systems)

• Exposure to ML infra

• Base Salary: $160,000–$300,000

• Equity: 0.1%–1.0%
