. Our Healthcare Investment Banking Group seeks an Associate for our West Coast team based in San Francisco. The team covers a wide variety of innovative clients in healthcare and life sciences sub‑sectors, including biotechnology, medical technology, life sciences tools, diagnostics, specialty pharma and technology‑enabled healthcare.

• Work on a wide range of complex transactions including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts.
• Assist in strategic advisory assignments and execution of public offerings, including IPOs, and private capital markets transactions.
• Deliver high‑quality advice to clients and collaborate with senior professionals to go beyond the numbers and think creatively.

• Experience in investment banking as an Associate with a proven track record on executed deals.
• Superior valuation skills, strong written & verbal communication, and comfort reading & interpreting financial statements.
• Extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment to working hard.
• Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Interest in developing a career in Healthcare Investment Banking.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA is an asset.
• Series licensing or willingness to obtain.

Expected base pay ranges from $150,000 to $225,000 per year at commencement, with additional compensation through commissions, bonuses, and other incentive programs. Compensation details are individualized and may include other benefits.
