You will work in a dynamic team on challenging reporting and withholding engagements across financial services sectors, leveraging tax and operations expertise to deliver advice, support, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface daily with superiors, peers, subordinates, and clients on large and small Information Reporting & Withholding (IRW) projects.

• Interpret IRS Code and Regulations, draft guidance, analyze data, and develop requirements to help clients translate and implement tax rules.

• Conduct gap analysis of client policies, procedures, and systems, and write business requirements.

• Prepare documentation including presentations, flow charts, and technical analysis.

• Respond to client requests for proposals and support process improvement initiatives.

• Read and interpret IRS Code, regulations, and instructions.

• Strong writing skills for policy and procedure development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (JD, LL.M. in Taxation, or MST preferred).

• Minimum 2 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience.

• Licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent certification; or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.

Preferred Experience

• Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, or IIB.

• Ability to understand and implement tax rules.

• Demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapters 3, 4, and 61, or experience working with these matters.
