We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech startup to hire its first-ever finance leader. This is a rare opportunity to step in early, work directly with the CEO, and help shape the financial foundation of a business that’s entering its next phase of growth.

This role is highly strategic. While there will be some basic accounting oversight, the focus is firmly on FP&A, debt and financial modeling, fundraising support, and decision-making at the executive level. If you’re excited by building, scaling, and influencing outcomes — this role is built for that.

What you’ll be doing

• Own company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and long-term modeling

• Build and maintain debt and capital structure models to support growth initiatives

• Partner with the CEO on strategic planning, pricing, unit economics, and growth initiatives

• Support fundraising efforts, including materials, models, and investor diligence

• Translate financial data into clear insights to guide operating and strategic decisions

• Work cross-functionally with operations, product, and leadership to improve performance

• Establish scalable financial processes and infrastructure as the company grows

• Oversee light accounting functions (likely with external support)

Who we’re looking for

• Background in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or a strategic in-house finance role at a high-growth company

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset, ideally with debt modeling experience

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch

• Strategic mindset with the ability to zoom out and execute

• Excited about joining an early-stage company and growing alongside it

• Clear communicator who can influence and partner with senior leadership
