Location:

Overview:
Tax Senior Managers in our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice provide state and local property tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to multiple clients across industries. You will work directly with the client, manage the tax engagement team, and have support from firm leadership.
Senior Managers Can Expect To
• Engage in business development activities (e.g., prepare proposals, present in webinars).
• Provide guidance to clients on a range of property tax issues.
• Analyze property tax considerations and potential impacts related to business restructuring or due diligence projects.
• Perform in-depth reviews of complex property tax returns.
• Assist with drafting and presenting new proposals to new and existing clients.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate Seniors, Associates, and Interns.
Requirements
• 6+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years in property tax and with property tax assessors.
• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (Preferred).
• Advanced credential allowing client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (e.g., CPA or JD); CMI also acceptable.
• Self‑starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Proficient use of technology.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
For individuals hired in San Francisco, the expected salary range is $177,100 to $229,500. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and skill set.
