CFO

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $300,000 to $350,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and recommend financial strategies, budgets, and plans for board approval, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee financial reporting systems and ensure timely preparation of statements, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Review and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Manage core financial functions including budgeting, reimbursements, patient accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and cash management.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior leadership for strategic decision-making and cost control initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights to executive leadership and board members.
• Expertise in GAAP compliance, tax regulations, and healthcare financial reporting standards.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing financial teams and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with financial institutions and external partners.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5+ years of financial management experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Advanced credentials such as MBA, CPA, or HFMA Fellowship.
• Prior experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in a complex healthcare organization.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing budgets, audits, and compliance within a regulated industry.
