CFO

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Office to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $225,000 to $325,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and guidance in decision-making processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and external auditors
• Assess and manage financial risks, including compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls
• Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and financing activities
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to inform financial strategies and decisions
• Develop and implement effective financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive the company's overall financial performance and growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a CFO or similar leadership role within the construction, engineering or land development industry
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience working for a company with a revenue of $100 Million or more
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
