• Underwrite new and renewal marine business to drive profitable growth of the Marine line.
• Assess risk desirability through regular contact with brokers, close coordination with AIG subject‑matter experts, and robust review of claims history and company information.
• Provide excellent broker service with a timely, proactive approach; grow the broker network through events and relationship building in line with a sales plan.
• Deliver accurate monthly management information—including submissions, bind rate, average premium and total premium.

• Underwriting experience preferred; other relevant professional experience also acceptable.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship‑building skills.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Customer‑ and sales‑oriented mindset: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive and accountable.
