Job Description & How to Apply Below

We’re working with a growing renewable energy platform looking to add an Asset Management Analyst or Associate to its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–4+ years of experience in renewable energy who wants hands-on exposure to a growing portfolio of operating solar and battery storage assets.

You’ll play a key role across asset performance, financial analysis, operational reporting, cash management, O&M oversight, and project optimization, working closely with senior leadership, investors, lenders, and external partners.

The role would suit someone who is analytical, commercially minded, highly detail-oriented, and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment where you can build processes rather than simply follow them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of a portfolio of operating solar and battery storage projects

  • Analyze technical and financial performance against budgets and forecasts

  • Identify performance variances, investigate key drivers, and identify opportunities for optimization

  • Prepare operational and financial reporting for management, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders

  • Support monthly asset performance and operations reviews

  • Own and maintain financial models tracking project performance and investment returns

  • Manage project cash flows, including payments, debt service, and distributions

  • Work closely with O&M providers to ensure equipment issues are resolved and preventative maintenance is completed

  • Monitor community solar customer management providers and contractual performance

  • Manage third-party asset management consultants where required

  • Maintain contractual compliance databases and ensure project obligations are completed on schedule

  • Support the onboarding of new projects into the asset management function

  • Work alongside Development, EPC, Project Finance, and Corporate Finance teams

  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and insurance renewal activities

  • Support asset management activities related to new investment opportunities

  • Help develop and improve asset management processes, systems, reporting, and procedures as the portfolio grows

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–4+ years of experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, consulting, project finance, asset management, engineering, or a related field

  • Experience with operating renewable energy assets is highly desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

  • Experience in one or more areas including:

    • Asset Management

    • Operations & Maintenance

    • Engineering

    • Project Finance

    • Project Contracts

    • Accounting

    • Project Development

    • Construction

    • Data Analysis

  • Experience with solar, battery storage, and/or community solar is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect technical, operational, contractual, and financial information

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems independently

  • Entrepreneurial approach — someone who enjoys creating tools, processes, and systems rather than waiting for them to be provided

  • Interest in using AI and emerging technology to improve analysis, reporting, contract review, and asset management workflows

  • Collaborative attitude, curiosity, and a genuine interest in renewable energy

Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Opportunity to work directly with operating solar and battery storage assets

  • Exposure across technical, financial, commercial, and operational asset management

  • Direct interaction with senior leadership, investors, lenders, and industry partners

  • Opportunity to help build and scale an asset management function

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus

  • Long-term incentive opportunity

  • 401(k) savings plan and company-funded retirement benefits

  • Medical and long-term disability coverage

  • Dental and vision benefits

  • Professional development opportunities
