Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half's Financial Services Division is partnering with a growing, technology-focused venture capital firm in San Francisco seeking a Fund Finance Associate to join its finance team.

The firm invests across multiple stages of the technology ecosystem, with a focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare, and emerging technologies. Responsibilities Fund Accounting & Operations Manage recurring monthly and quarterly close activities across multiple funds and SPVs, including reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Prepare NAV calculations, capital account statements, investor allocations, and fund reporting schedules.

Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers to support ongoing fund operations.

Financial Reporting & Valuations Prepare investor reporting packages and supporting financial schedules.

Assist with annual audits, tax preparation, and related documentation requests.

Support quarterly investment valuations by gathering comparable company data, updating valuation models, and preparing investment summaries.

Assist with fund performance reporting and portfolio updates.

Investment & Operational Support Coordinate transaction documentation, wire packages, and supporting investment records.

Maintain fund cash tracking, investment capacity schedules, and portfolio databases.

Support regulatory reporting, compliance tracking, and ongoing process improvements.

Help develop and improve accounting systems, workflows, and operational procedures.

Technology & Process Improvement Utilize AI tools, including Claude and other automation platforms, to streamline reconciliations, research, documentation, and reporting.

Identify opportunities to automate recurring processes and improve the efficiency of the finance function.
