Please note that this is a role in a hybrid capacity based in our downtown San Francisco office, with onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What You’ll Do:
  • Drive product development for all of Upgrade’s fraud infrastructure including detection, models, third party data integration, and consumer verification measures.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional decision making, driving key tradeoffs between conversion, fraud prevention, information security and operational considerations
  • Partner closely with Upgrade’s fraud management team to monitor and drive improvements on all relevant fraud KPIs
  • Act as product owner for scrum teams working to ship fraud platform enhancements
  • Evaluate and drive implementation of new third party data and software integrations
  • Work closely with the operations team to monitor, troubleshoot and solve issues.
What We Look For:
  • Significant expertise in fraud strategies, models, data sources and infrastructure in a Fintech environment preferred.
  • Proven track record in leadership, organizational conflict resolution, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • 10+ years of product management experience in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Fluency with product development tools, SQL, web analytics and AB testing software.
  • Experience with third party APIs & solutions integration.
What We Offer You:
  • Competitive salary and stock option plan
  • 100% paid coverage of medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Paid parental leave
  • Health & wellness initiatives

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $180,000-$200,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job‑related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
