Managing Optician

Join this family-owned optometry practice, proudly serving the community since 1949! We are on the lookout for a loyal and experienced Optician to enhance this spectacular team. They are known for one of the largest optical dispensaries in the city and offer a wide range of eyewear, including regular and specialty contact lenses. • Providing top-notch customer service with a friendly smile
• Dispensing eyewear and guiding patients in frame and lens selection
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current optical products and industry trends, especially Essilor lenses
• Processing orders and ensuring finished jobs meet our quality standards
• Making necessary eyewear adjustments and repairs
• Collaborating with our doctors on patient recommendations
• Assisting with contact lenses and pretesting as needed
• Handling phone inquiries and supporting patients in a welcoming environment

We are looking for full-time or part-time candidates, ideally available 5 days a week.

Our office hours are as follows:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Closed on Sundays

• Pay ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 per hour, based on your experience.

• Minimum 5 years of opticianry experience is required
• Strong knowledge of optics and eye care
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future

• Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent teamwork and outstanding customer service skills
• A polished appearance and a natural ability to build a loyal client base
