Transforming Lives of Sexually Exploited Minors
C-Change is a program dedicated to transforming the lives of sexually exploited minors. We offer comprehensive mental health services—including screening, advocacy, clinical case management, and psychotherapy—to youth at risk of or who have been victims of sexual exploitation.
The Bay Area is a significant hub for child sex trafficking. In response to this critical issue, West Coast Children's Clinic (WCC) established C-Change, an intensive mental health program designed to help these youth heal. Our staff build trusting relationships with exploited youth, providing consistent support throughout their healing journey. Through therapy, youth learn to reframe their self‑perception and circumstances. Our team also connects them with vital resources such as safe housing, healthcare, and educational opportunities.
With the assistance of C-Change staff, young people begin to recognize their inherent worth and learn essential self‑advocacy skills.
The C-Change Clinical Supervisor is responsible for training and evaluating practitioners who provide community‑based mental health services to youth who are at risk or have been identified as victims of exploitation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in supervising all aspects of service delivery using a multidisciplinary team approach, monitoring service quality, and developing staff competencies, particularly for those in training or early‑career practitioners.
The Clinical Supervisor is also accountable for ensuring that supervises meet all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, and documentation requirements. This role involves collaborative work with West Coast Program Directors to identify policy, procedure, and training needs.
