This Hospital is a BRAND NEW 300 bed acute care, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving residents of the San Francisco Bay area. This hospital is affiliated with the largest health system in CA and a national leader in non-profit exceptional patient care. Our client has engaged our firm to assist them in filling multiple positions of need for their rapidly expanding surgical unit.

The Surgical Tech II assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience.
• Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program.

• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• CST-Certified Surgical Technologist

• Two (2) years scrubbing experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
• Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.
