Job Summary: The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description:
The Burn Inpatient unit and Outpatient clinic ncis provide care for the patients undergoing intensive burn care, patients requiring complex medical management, as well as follow up management of burn care.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum one year of recent experience working in Acute or Critical Care as a Physician Assistant.
- Demonstrated excellence in the following areas: clinical practice, communication, clinical case management, leadership/problem identification/resolution, and teaching.
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Inpatient Physician Assistant in an academic medical center.
License/Certification:
- Active and current California Physician Assistant License (PA)
- California driver’s license (CDL) if required for position
- Current national board certification (NCCPA) by first day of work and maintain
- Active DEA registration with Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 to a California address
- Completion of an AAPA recognized graduate master’s degree program as a physician assistant
- Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing process by first clinical day
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
