Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• No on-call responsibilities required

• Weekend rotation required - minimum every other weekend

• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Float to TICU, Med/Tele, and MS units as needed

• May float to other CPMC locations if census is low on home unit

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• 3 years of ICU experience required, 4 years preferred

• 2 years minimum experience required for submission

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Trauma Level I experience required

• Epic charting system experience required

• California RN license required at time of submission

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS

• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN

• All certifications must be AHA and available at time of submittal

• Care for adults and geriatric patients

• Daily census of 30 patients across 36 beds

• Manage complex critical care patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

• Experience with specialized equipment including ECMO, CVVHD/CRRT, Flo Trac/Vigileo monitoring

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

• Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 1-5 hours

• 50-mile travel requirement from facility
