The Monitor Technician provides continuous remote observation of cardiac telemetry and pulse-oximetry for adult patients across transitional care and acute care inpatient units throughout UCSF Health.
Working within a fast-paced centralized telemetry environment, the Monitor Technician plays an important role in patient safety through the early detection and timely reporting of cardiac arrhythmias, potentially life-threatening rhythms, and oxygen desaturations.
