The Role
Are you an experienced bartender who can keep the energy high while delivering excellent customer service at busy events? Do you enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere, mixing drinks with confidence and being part of unforgettable celebrations?
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Event Bartender to join our growing events team across the San Francisco Bay Area.
You’ll help deliver smooth and professional beverage service at a range of events. No two shifts are the same. One day you could be serving cocktails at a stylish wedding and the next you could be part of a large corporate event team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives under pressure and takes pride in creating a great guest experience
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, stock, run, and break down event bars
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Follow drink recipes and portion guidelines accurately
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service throughout events
- Check guest identification where required
- Operate POS systems and handle transactions correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
- Work closely with the catering and events team to ensure smooth service
- Follow all company safety and liquor service procedures
- Assist in other operational areas when needed

The Person- At least 2 years’ bartending experience
- Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A professional and polished appearance
- Confidence working independently and within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and early mornings
- A valid driving licence and reliable transport
- Sound knowledge of food & beverage health and safety regulations.
- Constant standing and walking
- Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 10-15 lbs, occasionally lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 100 lbs (with assistance) and working in busy and sometimes loud event environments.
Covid Vaccination is required for this role. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with applicable regulations.
This is an hourly post. Attendance will be required in line with the business requirements, including at weekends, holidays and in the early mornings as well as evenings, based on rotating scheduling.

The Benefits- $25 – $27 per hour
- Weekend availability is a must
- Schedules may include 8-to-12-hour shifts, day shifts, holidays, on-call shifts, overtime, and weekends.
