Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager

We’re looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our growing team and support our expanding workforce across multiple U.S. sites. In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and day-to-day HR inquiries.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, startup-style environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats across the People function.
Responsibilities- Support the administration of employee benefit plans, retirement programs, voluntary elections, and compensation packages.
- Conduct analysis of benefits and compensation programs; assist in program design and strategy.
- Act as a first-line resource for employees on HR-related questions, escalating when appropriate, and provide guidance and ensure compliance with California employment law and federal regulations.
- Assist with leave of absence administration, maintain accurate employee records, and support HR-related audits.
- Partner with the team to manage and optimize HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy.
- 3+ years of experience in a People Operations or HR Generalist role with strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and California employment law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to balance empathy with compliance.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Experience with HRIS and analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 a year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, expertise, and scope of responsibilities.
