• Has recruited engineers and can hold a technical conversation without a script
• Sources actively rather than waiting on inbound applications
• Writes to candidates like people, not like a funnel
• Will chase a hiring manager who is sitting on feedback

• 01 A 30-minute conversation With someone you would actually work with. No recruiter screen, no take-home before we have spoken.
• 02 A paid work session Four hours, paid at contractor rate, on a problem close to real work. You keep whatever you build.
• 03 A deep-dive on your craft Ninety minutes on something you have done before. We ask about the decisions and the parts that went wrong.
• 04 A decision within a week Offer or not, with written feedback either way. We have never taken longer and do not intend to start.

We pay for the work session at contractor rate. Asking for unpaid labour from someone who already has a job is not a fair trade.
