We are seeking a Principal Product Manager – Data Platform to define and lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Good Leap’s enterprise data platform. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and self-service data infrastructure that empowers teams across engineering, analytics, operations, and business units.

You will play a critical role in driving Good Leap’s evolution into a truly data-driven organization. This includes building trust in data through governance and cataloging, enabling compliant data sharing in regulated environments, and promoting modern platform capabilities that unlock value for both internal teams and customers. You’ll partner deeply with cross-functional leaders across all departments of the organization.

• Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Good Leap’s enterprise data platform — aligning priorities across data engineering, analytics, business, and governance stakeholders
• Champion the concept of Data as a Product, promoting reusable, well-documented, and discoverable data assets with clear ownership and lifecycle management
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to support scalable, modern data infrastructure — while owning product strategy, user requirements, and success metrics
• Drive key platform initiatives such as data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, data modeling and transformation, and real-time access, using tools like Databricks, Fivetran, and Spark.
• Define and manage the product strategy for data governance and compliance capabilities — supporting regulatory requirements like PCI, CCPA, and FCRA
• Lead the implementation and adoption of data cataloging and metadata solutions (e.g., Unity Catalog, Altan) to improve data discoverability, lineage, and documentation across domains
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Ops) to ensure the data platform supports their evolving needs with high trust and transparency
• Create detailed product requirement documents, user stories, and technical specifications for integrations, data onboarding, and data product initiatives
• Monitor platform usage, establish SLAs, and define success metrics to drive adoption and continuous improvement
• Promote a culture of data stewardship and cross‑functional ownership to improve data quality, usability, and reliability

• 10+ years of product management or related experience, with at least 4+ years focused on data platform, infrastructure, or enterprise data products
• Deep familiarity with the modern data stack, such as Databricks or Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, Fivetran/Airbyte, Spark, Redshift, Big Query
