In this role, you’ll work hands-on with encoders, streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, RTMP), and cloud streaming services. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients set up proof-of-concepts (POCs), onboard onto our platform, and troubleshoot live events in real time.

This position involves travel (both virtual and occasional on-site) and flexible hours, as live broadcasts often occur during evenings or weekends. It’s a client-facing role that requires strong collaboration, communication, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding & POCs

  • Monitor live streams for major sports broadcasts to ensure stable, high-quality video delivery.
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve streaming issues during live events.
  • Adjust workflows to accommodate real-time client changes.
Technical Consultation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, RTMP, MPEG-DASH).
  • Advise clients on encoder selection, network optimization, and low-latency solutions.
  • Collaborate with client teams to design tailored workflows.
Platform Integration & Automation
  • Work with internal engineering teams to integrate client requirements into CAMB.AI’s AI-driven platform.
  • Automate streaming processes like autoscaling, failover configurations, and deployment.
  • Improve internal tools for client onboarding and stream management.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client setups, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases to ensure consistent support.
  • Provide post-event analysis and workflow recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with the AI and product teams to enhance live stream features.
  • Provide feedback on product improvements and potential offerings based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in live streaming, broadcast engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to deploy, test, and support streaming solutions in a client-facing capacity.
  • Strong understanding of streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, RTMP) and experience with encoders.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network and encoding issues under time pressure.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and weekends for live sports broadcasts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud media services (e.g., AWS Media Live, Media Connect).
  • Knowledge of Dev Ops tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) for media workflows.
  • Background in sports production or live event workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Successful track record leading POCs and pilot projects.
