Pleasanton, CA or Vacaville, CA (Local to Bay Area – must be able to visit office as needed - Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a Network Architect with deep experience in enterprise network infrastructure, cloud networking, and network security. This role involves hands-on architecture, implementation, and support of network solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

• Hands-on expertise with F5 WAF and Load Balancers

• Strong experience with AWS networking (VPC, EC2, ELB, Transit Gateway)

• Implementation of DDoS solutions (Cloudflare or Akamai)

• Management of Palo Alto Global Protect VPN

• Experience with Cloudflare DDoS, Palo Alto, Cisco, and AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Route
53, Cloud Formation)

• VOIP networking and SIP trunking

• Scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python)

• Design and implement secure, high-performance network infrastructure

• Manage projects from design to deployment

• Lead network architecture planning and documentation

• Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity issues

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise initiatives

• Provide 24/7 support and participate in capacity planning

• Mentor and support junior engineers

• Deep understanding of data center, collocation, and MPLS networks

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise network infrastructure, cloud networking, and network security

• Hands-on networking with AWS (VPC, EC2, ELB, Transit Gateway)

• Experience with DDoS solutions (Cloudflare or Akamai) and DDoS protection

• Knowledge of Palo Alto Global Protect VPN, Cloudflare DDoS, Cisco, and AWS services

• VOIP networking and SIP trunking

• Automation scripting (Ansible, Python)

• Strong problem-solving, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration

• Data center, colocation, and MPLS networking understanding
