Software Engineer, Agent

The Role

You'll work directly with life sciences clients to understand their pain points and implement AI-powered solutions using the Bluenote platform. You'll design and build workflow automation and help bring life-saving therapies to patients faster.

This role is ideal for technically strong individuals with a product mindset who thrive in client-facing, fast-paced environments and are excited to be at the forefront of real-world LLM applications.

• Work directly with clients and subject matter experts to understand their processes and needs, codifying this into software and evaluation datasets.
• Build and customize AI workflows using LLMs and agentic frameworks.
• Own end-to-end deployments from prompt crafting to evaluation.
• Iterate quickly with users to improve output.
• Serve as a bridge between customer needs and Bluenote’s platform capabilities.

• Entrepreneurial and excited to build a high-growth startup.
• Strong communicator with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving requirements.
• Curious about how AI and LLMs can transform the life sciences industry.
• Exhibits thoroughness and precision.

• 5+ years of post-college experience in software engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/Type Script.
• Experience in leading major product launch and/or customer implementations
• Hands-on experience crafting prompts and building with LLMs.
• Solid understanding of systems thinking and problem decomposition.
• Prior customer-facing or consulting experience is a strong plus.
