For example, our AI can contact venues by email and phone to get availability, deal with back-and-forth negotiations, and present the best options. We’ve proudly planned events ranging from Amazon’s intimate executive dinners in New York, to Quantstamp’s product launch in Turkey, to Google’s offsite hin the first 6 months of launching, Nowadays has experienced exponential growth, growing to $3.4M in booked revenue from customers including Amazon, Google, and Notion.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale AI systems that automate our event-planning workflow end-to-end

• Develop and scale AI agents for auto-emailing, calling, web scraping, and deep research

• Improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations across our LLM-powered features

• Design and implement scalable AI workflows using modern LLM frameworks and tools

• Work with real customer data to identify automation opportunities and validate AI solutions

• Build evaluation systems to measure and improve AI performance over time

• Partner closely with product and ops teams to understand pain points and ship AI features that matter

• Shape our AI/ML architecture and practices from the ground up

What You’ll Bring

• Experience building and deploying AI / LLM systems in production

• Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/LLM frameworks (Lang Chain, Llama Index, etc.)

• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and techniques to improve LLM accuracy

• Experience with AI agents, tool calling, and autonomous systems

• Comfort with full-stack development and shipping features end-to-end

• A bias toward action—you like moving fast, experimenting, and iterating based on real-world results

• Excitement about pushing the boundaries of what AI can automate in complex workflows

Bonus Points

• Experience building AI web agents or browser automation systems

• Zero-to-one AI product development experience

• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and AI observability tools

Published research or contributions to open-source AI projects

Compensation & Benefits

• Working Times: US (PST) Hours

• Must be based in San Francisco
• $130K-$170K

• 0.5% - 2% equity
