MATCHA API TECH STACK

We care far more that someone has solid fundamentals, is generally intelligent, has strong learning agility, and is an overall good human. That said, we’re excited about the rapidly evolving tech we’re building on. It includes:

• Be an individual contributor on projects as well as lead technical projects of moderate to high complexity
• Offer valuable insights as a peer when reviewing designs and performing code reviews
• Create high quality, secure, clean code

• Coach and mentor other engineers and generally up-level the team
• Empathize with our customers and users

• A software engineer with 7+ years of experience solving complex distributed computing problems
• A generalist who can design and build a system from the ground up which could include:
  • Relational or Key Value Data stores
  • Distributed Event driven architectures
  • Cloud based deployment, preferably AWS
  • external facing REST/HTTP APIs
  • Monitoring dashboards, preferably Grafana
• Have lead small to medium sized projects as a tech lead with 2-4 other engineers
• Can take big problems, research the current state of the art, and apply technology appropriately knowing how to take proper tradeoffs
• Are driven by shipping code of high quality with a focus on providing maximum user and business value
• Has been part of teams that maintain, business critical, high volume, customer facing applications. Preferably SaaS or API Platforms
• Up to date on emerging trends in modern backend technology solutions (databases, queues, caching, etc.)
• Has a passion for DeFi and how it can improve peoples lives

PREFERRED

• Has experience working with search engines like Elastic Search or Open Search
• Has a solid understanding of blockchains (Specifically EVM chains)
• Experience working with JSON-RPC APIs to interact with blockchain nodes for tasks like querying blockchain data, sending transactions, or monitoring events
• Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., Web
  3.js, ethers.js, viem) to build and test blockchain integrations

BENEFITS

• The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $230,000 + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
