We are seeking a Director, IT Risk Assurance, with focus on cybersecurity and data privacy who will be responsible for supporting business development as well as leading, managing and, when necessary, executing projects in the pursuit of delivery excellence across a portfolio of clients. You must demonstrate a high level of executive presence and well-developed project management skills, in addition to the ability to deliver sustainable and profitable engagement delivery.

What

You Will Work On
  • Driving and leading the day-to-day execution of cybersecurity and data privacy project work by participating in and leading business development efforts, representing RGP’s capabilities in client-facing meetings and the ability to progress conversations with key decision makers, and applying subject matter expertise to lead knowledge management initiatives and research to further enhance organizational expertise and solution knowledge.
  • Sound understanding of global cybersecurity standards and frameworks (NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, etc.);
    Cybersecurity risk management strategy expertise;
    Identity and access management;
    Cyber defense lead practices; AI solution security and protection;
    Penetration testing & threat detection and response;
    Data classification and privacy;
    Data privacy rules and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.);
    Workiva Compliance Manager module experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrates strong understanding and experience with cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI security
  • Focus on continuous improvement in delivery, providing engagement readbacks to client/internally
  • Integrate seamlessly with the client team, building trust and credibility to ensure the successful execution of their deliverables
  • Serve as the client’s and internal team’s key contact for day-to-day operational aspects on project execution and partner with the client to identify and overcome obstacles
  • Familiarity with a broad variety of industries including life sciences, financial services, consumer and industrial products
  • Familiarity with GRC tools (Workiva & Audit Board - implementation and/or administrator experience desirable)
  • Knowledge of Service Now functionality for Integrated Risk Management and Cybersecurity & Resilience
  • Advise clients on leading practices for cybersecurity configurations
  • Employ exceptional project management skills to ensure successful completion
  • Maintain effective communication with the client and project team
  • Proactively identifies and synthesizes opportunities for additional client support and communicates this to account leadership
  • Demonstrate strengths in relationship management with an ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources
  • Desire to help the team to grow services and offerings related to digitally enabled Risk Assurance (continuous control monitoring / data analytics / use of AI) and Agile methods
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution
  • 6+ years working in cybersecurity and data privacy either in IT audit, IT consulting, assurance services, or related field in professional services with broad industry exposure
  • Strong understanding of delivery methodologies and deliverables leveraged in a variety of engagement types
  • Demonstrated success delivering within engagements at the enterprise-level
  • Business development and growth-oriented mindset, Solution focused with creative and collaborative demeanor
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including preparing and delivering executive and audit committee level presentations
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy risk assessment and risk mitigation methodologies
  • Understanding of commonly used cybersecurity and data privacy frameworks and compliance leading practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage and motivate people
What You Can Expect
  • All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
  • Base Pay Range: $156,800 - $196,000
