The team in AWS India is looking for a Solutions Architect, who can work with our customers, who have built world class scaling infrastructure, exceptional solutions, exploding digital content and interactive experiences. Key Job Responsibilities

Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ensure success around specific implementation projects, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad knowledge around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform. An ideal candidate will be owning the architecture and design IT systems deploying at scale, have worked as a part of Center of excellence, Innovation centers etc.

to evangelize adoption of new technologies, have experience with multiple technologies, patterns and frameworks; and is able to figure out trade-offs between them, be hands‑on and can roll up their sleeves should need be to do Proof of concepts and demonstrate technologies. Candidate should be good at identifying repeatable pattern and best practices, picking up new technologies & constant learners.

The ideal candidate will possess customer facing skills that will allow them to represent AWS India well within a customer’s or partner’s environment and drive discussions with senior executives within the company, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance to developer community and architects in India. S/he should also have demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

The selected candidate will work with AWS customers to map business requirements to technology; define performance requirement based on user access patterns; compare between various design patterns; discern between variety of Generative AI, AI/ML, data, analytics, compute, containers, and serverless technologies; architect for high availability and scaling requirements, while minimizing the cost and meeting security standards; architect disaster recovery solutions for required RTO/RPO;

advise on building Dev Ops pipelines and process; advise on monitoring and observability; conduct well architected reviews; partner with AWS Specialists to implement innovative solutions; collaborate with the Service teams to identify feature gaps suggest new features; present to customer C‑suite and technical communities on architecture patterns, best practices, case studies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 10+ years of IT development/consulting experience with 4+ years of solutions architecture experience on large‑scale systems; 5+ years of design, implementation and deployment experience in advanced solutions in AI‑ML/containers/database/bigdata or similar; 2+ years of experience in architecting, migrating, operating solutions built on AWS or another cloud platform

• Expertise in open‑source programming, frameworks, design patterns and development; expertise in two or more solution areas such as building AI‑ML solutions, container technologies, devops practices, purpose build databases, data warehouses, bigdata, search engines, streaming etc.

• Understanding of Infrastructure and Application monitoring;
Load Balancers, Network (subnets/NATs/Gateways), CDN, HTTP, Storage, Security and understanding of distributed system design

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

• AWS Associate certifications or above

• Effective presentation/communication skills with the ability to communicate across c‑suite

• Contribution to Open‑Source projects/Tech blogs
