Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software development, deployment, and maintenance, while also providing technical support and guidance.

• Key Mission:
  Own the infrastructure and Dev Ops systems from the ground up.
• Greenfield Environment:
  Current infra is immature mostly single VMs and semi-manual Kubernetes deployments.
• Will support:
• The Microsoft Word add-in (web app embedded in Word)
• The Ivo Assistant (single-tenancy deployments, Kubernetes-heavy)

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for application development and maintenance.
• Strong experience with software deployment methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with Git Lab and Git Hub for version control and collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting.
• Experience managing No
  
  SQL databases like Dynamo
  
  DB.
• Ability to provide effective technical support in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of T-SQL for database queries and operations.
• Strong organizational skills in software project management practices.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for monitoring application performance.

• Experience:
  
  Ideally 5+ years, but flexible 4+ acceptable; no upper limit.
• Education:
  
  Preference for CS or engineering degrees from reputable institutions.
• Background:
• Startup experience is highly valued.
• Bonus: B2B SaaS companies or any experience deploying systems for contract-heavy products.

  Experience working with large language models or AI/ML tools.
