About the OpportunityMy client is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to support and scale their quality assurance function during a period of growth. This role works closely with the QA leadership and engineering teams to ensure the platform delivers exceptional reliability, performance, and security for healthcare users. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping testing practices, strengthening automation, and validating features across the full product stack.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out detailed manual and automated testing across user interfaces, backend services, and system integrations.
- Build, enhance, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential risks ahead of releases.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and define appropriate test coverage.
- Take part in regression testing, release sign-off, and defect triage activities.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for test cases, processes, and quality standards.
- Assist with tracking, analyzing, and reporting on quality metrics.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in QA or software engineering with a strong emphasis on testing.
- Practical experience using test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest, or equivalent.
- Proven experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear communicator who works well in cross-functional team environments.
- Self‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup setting.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing within deployment workflows.
- Experience working in regulated sectors such as healthcare or fintech.
- Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices‑based architectures.
- Experience testing complex integrations or AI‑driven products.
