As the Project Manager (1070), you will report to the Director of Project Management Office and serve as a technology project and product leader responsible for the strategic planning, delivery, implementation, transition, operational performance, and continuous improvement of major technology products, systems, services, programs, and cross-functional initiatives. The position exercises significant responsibility and discretion in defining priorities, coordinating cross-functional resources, resolving complex technology and service-delivery issues, and ensuring that technology solutions meet organizational, operational, and user needs while achieving scope, schedule, budget, quality, and performance objectives.

The position works across the Department of Technology and with departments and schools throughout SFUSD to translate organizational needs into sustainable technology solutions, coordinate implementation and integration activities, improve business processes and user experiences, and establish effective structures for ongoing product and service management.
