Are you ready to take the next step in your insurance career and lead a high-performing team? Our client, a global specialty insurance group, is seeking an Underwriting Operations Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of 5–6 underwriting support professionals.

- Innovation & Process Improvement – You’ll help shape how underwriting support is delivered, including exploring outsourcing strategies and technology improvements.
- Lead and manage a team of 5–6 Property Underwriting Assistants.
- Develop personal growth plans and conduct performance reviews/appraisals.
- Monitor workflow, SLAs, and capacity, ensuring smooth delivery of underwriting support.
- Produce reports and performance metrics for senior leadership.
- Partner with underwriters to provide pre-underwriting, rating, and client service support.
- Act as the go-to resource for process improvements, system initiatives, and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships through timely and professional service.
- Insurance professionals with leadership or supervisory experience (Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor, etc.).
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys coaching others.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must.
