Job Description & How to Apply Below
Translate and post-edit Chinese content into Vietnamese for e-commerce, gaming, manufacturing and legal clients.
Chinese to Vietnamese is one of our strongest pairs and one of the hardest to staff well. We need linguists who can handle both Simplified and Traditional sources, recognize when a Sino-Vietnamese term reads as stiff, and keep product and legal terminology exact.
What you will do- Translate and post-edit product listings, UI strings, contracts and technical documents.
- Work from Simplified or Traditional Chinese sources, flagging regional terms.
- Keep terminology consistent using the project TM and glossary.
- Suggest natural Vietnamese for culturally loaded names, slogans and idioms.
- Native Vietnamese, with HSK 5 or equivalent Chinese.
- At least 2 years of professional Chinese to Vietnamese translation.
- Working knowledge of a CAT tool.
- Game or e-commerce localization experience.
- Legal or manufacturing terminology in both languages.
- Regular work in your pair from enterprise, certified and AI projects.
- A clear brief on every job: glossary, style guide, reference files and a PM who answers.
- MQM feedback on your work, so you always know where you stand.
- Rates agreed up front, per word or per hour, and paid on schedule.
- Fully remote. You set your hours and your capacity.
