Legal Recruiter | Business Solutions Manager @ Adams & Martin GroupAdams & Martin Group has partnered with a leading law firm in San Francisco seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their collaborative and fast‑paced team. This is a full‑time, fully on‑site position, offering an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and gain hands‑on exposure to all stages of litigation.
ResponsibilitiesThe Paralegal will assist attorneys with:
- Preparing litigation documents
- Drafting correspondence and memoranda
- Setting appointments, meetings, and depositions
- Preparing deposition and trial exhibits
- Document editing and light word processing (paralegal must process their own work)
- Conducting legal research and cite‑checking
- Performing factual investigations
- Contacting clients and potential clients
- Coordinating updates and revisions to the firm website
- Filing and serving legal documents (electronically and in hard copy)
- Managing and organizing data and documents, creating and maintaining litigation databases
- Searching and retrieving electronic discovery from databases and other sources
- Managing administrative, calendar, and records functions
- Assisting with general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and answering telephones
- 2+ years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal, preferably with mid to large firm experience
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime (nights and weekends) as required
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Proficiency with Lexis
- Experience with Relativity, Summation, Concordance, Case Map, and/or other litigation database programs
- Strong familiarity with basic legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery) and a firm understanding of litigation procedures
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of documents
- Ability to read information on a computer monitor for extended periods (up to 10 hours a day, when needed)
- Expected to bill at least 100 hours per month on billable client matters, with minimal write‑offs due to quality of work
