An AmLaw 35 firm is seeking a strong mid-level associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions practice in San Francisco
. The group advises public and private companies, sponsors, and investors on sophisticated acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and private equity transactions across a range of industries.

This is an elite corporate group with a long-standing reputation for handling complex, high-value transactions and continuing to enjoy strong momentum in the market. We have placed into this team previously and are familiar with its collaborative culture, high standards, and consistent deal flow. Associates work closely with partners on all phases of transactions and are entrusted with meaningful responsibility early.

Hiring Profile

The firm is seeking mid-level associates with 2–3 years of M&A experience from an elite Big Law practice, including hands‑on experience leading diligence, drafting and negotiating ancillary transaction documents, and supporting all phases of complex M&A transactions.

Qualifications

• Elite academic credentials;
  Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school
• Prior Big Law training and experience
• 2–3 years of mergers & acquisitions experience
• California Bar admission or eligibility to sit for the California Bar
