Position: Employment Attorney (Hybrid)
Overview

Are you ready to deepen your employment law expertise in a collaborative and fast-moving firm environment? At Chan + Punzalan, you will join a team of experienced trial attorneys who value creativity, inclusivity, and real-world impact. You will work on meaningful litigation that shapes workplace fairness—representing clients in wage/hour, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation cases. You will also have opportunities to lead discovery, take depositions, argue motions, and interface directly with clients.

You will also have the immediate chance to work on a variety of different types of cases in Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation. You will have a chance to:

• Partner with senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies.

• Manage a caseload and appear in hearings, mediations, and depositions.

• Draft compelling pleadings, discovery, and motions across federal and state forums.

• Learn to work directly with clients and understand how to build your own book.

• Collaborate with a close-knit team that values professional development, humor, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• A hands-on attorney with at least 4 years of employment law experience

• Passionate about winning

• Sense of humor

• Experience representing clients in court

• Experience in conducting depositions

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience with wage and hour class and PAGA actions

• Interest in law firm operations, mentorship, and leadership

• A desire to build something long-term, with a focus on team success
