About Genesis
We are a full-stack general-purpose robot company, born across San Francisco and Paris and bound by a single mission: to make general-purpose robots a reality, unlocking infinite physical labor for the world and freeing people for creativity, exploration, and the pursuits they love for their own sake.
We are French and American by birth and global by nature. We are backed by partners who share our vision, including Eclipse, Khosla Ventures, Bpifrance, and HSG, alongside Eric Schmidt, Xavier Niel, Daniela Rus, and Vladlen Koltun. Our people work across the Bay Area and Europe, building the engine that will teach robots to do real work in the real world.
We recently unveiled Eno, our wheeled, dexterous robot powered by our GENE foundation model, and we are starting to put it to work with real customers.
You own the supply chain for a general-purpose robot going from prototype to production: every part in the bill of materials, from actuators, gears and motors to structures, PCBAs, harnesses, batteries and sensors, and every supplier and manufacturing partner behind them. You build it from the ground up, in the United States and abroad, and you build the team that runs it.
The scale goes from tens of units to hundreds to thousands, and the supply base, partners and processes that got us to today will not be the ones that get us there. Building the next version is the job.
This is a role for someone who has done it before, in the trenches, and wants to do it again with a product that matters more than the last one. You will spend your weeks with suppliers, on the floor with our manufacturing partners, in design reviews with the engineers who are still changing the parts, and with the leadership team on the decisions that shape the company.
Strategy and execution are the same job here.
Few people get to decide how a new category of machine gets built. Eno is dexterous, wheeled and already working with real customers, built today with a supply base and partners that got us here. The next version of that supply chain, the one that takes us to volume, is yours to shape: what we make and what we buy, where in the world it comes from, which partners we grow with, and what the robot costs se choices will be visible in every unit we ship for years.
Whatyou'll do
Strategy. Set the supply chain strategy from pilot to volume: make versus buy, regional footprint, domestic content for regulated markets, single versus dual source by sub-system, and the order in which each piece moves as volume grows.
Partners. Own contract manufacturer and partner relationships at the executive level: selection, agreements, capacity commitments, cost and quality performance, and the transfer of sub-assemblies between regions and partners when the plan calls for it.
Cost. Own the cost roadmap: should-cost and total-cost models, the path from pilot cost to target cost, tooling and capital decisions, long-term agreements with pricing that steps down with volume; partner with Finance on working capital and with Legal on supplier agreements.
Supply base. Build the supplier base for the hard sub-systems: actuators, gears and motors, machined and cast structures, PCBAs, harnesses, shells, batteries and sensors; two qualified sources for every critical part, in the regions the product and our customers require.
Risk. Run capacity and risk: capacity ahead of demand, lead-time and allocation strategy for constrained parts, tariff and trade exposure, geopolitical and single-point-of-failure risk, and a plan for each.
Team. Build and lead the organization: sourcing, supplier development, planning, supplier quality and logistics. Hire the leaders under you, hold a high bar, set the operating cadence and…
