About Us
We are an established signage manufacturing and installation company serving the San Francisco Bay Area. We design, fabricate, and install custom signage for commercial clients ranging from small retail to large-scale corporate and institutional projects. Our shop handles everything from vinyl graphics and channel letters to architectural signage and monument signs.
The RoleWe’re looking for a Production Coordinator to run our shop floor. This is a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll coordinate daily production across fabrication and installation crews, manage long term scheduling and priorities, and make sure every job moves through the shop on time and to spec.
You report directly to the owner. You are the single point of accountability for production output.
What You’ll Do- Run the daily production schedule, assign work to fabrication and installation crews each morning
- Own the production schedule so every crew member knows their daily assignment
- Coordinate with project managers on job handoffs, timelines, and material readiness
- Track on‑time completion and rework/callback rates
- Hands on fabrication or installation
- Identify bottlenecks early and adjust resources before deadlines slip
- Maintain quality standards across all output leaving the shop
- 3+ years in sign manufacturing, fabrication, or a related trade
- Experience coordinating crews or leading a production floor
- Comfortable assigning work and holding people accountable
- Hands‑on skills in at least one area: metal fabrication, vinyl/print production, channel letters, or sign installation
- Can read shop drawings and understand project scope from a set of plans
- Organized, you can juggle multiple jobs at different stages without losing track
- Clear communicator who keeps things moving, not someone who waits to be told
- Experience in computer and design software
- Competitive pay based on experience (hourly, depending on background)
- Full‑time, Monday through Friday
- Core hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shop is located in San Francisco
